While there has been significant progress, organizations must do more to ensure everyone is able to achieve their dreams and potential.

BREAKOUT SESSION TRACK 1

  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) marketing involves promoting products, services, or brands while using messages and images that reflect and celebrate diversity and inclusivity. While DEI marketing can be effective, challenges may occur that could disrupt the promotion of social justice values and diverse audiences. In this session, gain an understanding of how to be mindful of the challenges and take a thoughtful and inclusive approach when creating DEI marketing campaigns.

  • Small organizations can address diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in a number of ways, even with limited resources. During this session, gain insight on how small organizations can take a proactive approach to DEI to help attract and retain diverse talent.

  • While ERGs continue to play a valuable role in many workplaces, it's important to note that their effectiveness can vary depending on the organization's culture, leadership support, and each group’s specific goals. Some companies may have evolved their diversity and inclusion strategies to incorporate ERG efforts into broader initiatives, while others may still rely heavily on ERGs as a primary means of fostering diversity and inclusion.

  • Courtney Stanley,

Too often, the world tells young girls to dream big, but grown women to play small. We're going to challenge - and change - that notion today.

What past experiences and hard-wired habits hold you back from walking your walk and owning your story authentically, powerfully and effectively? So many women leave jobs, business ventures, and conversations feeling that if they had overcome self-limiting beliefs, verbalized their value and spoken up boldly when the moment called for it, they would have achieved a more successful and meaningful outcome.

This interactive workshop will empower you to deeply explore what holds you back from taking risks, teach you how to speak confidently and impactfully in any environment, create strategic visibility to amplify the work you do, and awaken the power of owning your story, your voice, and your influence.

    Learning Outcomes:

    1. Flex your self-awareness muscles to combat limiting self-beliefs and achieve greater opportunity, happiness, and success

    2. Practice life-changing psychological strategies to communicate authentically, powerfully and effectively in any room

    3. Strategically amplify the work you do behind the scenes by creating a personal public relations strategy that leads to greater visibility in your industry

  • Travel Unity and Tourism Diversity Matters.

Collaboration itself is akey to helping our industry solve issues related to DEI. Collaboration by its very nature leads to more diversity. By partnering with other organizations will open new viewpoints and different opportunities. The more backgrounds, viewpoints, and perspectives involved in a collaboration, the more effective and successful it will be.

11:00 AM - 11:50 AM

BREAKOUT SESSION TRACK 2

  • Effective leadership is essential for addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. During this session, determine what it means to be a DEI leader that models inclusive behaviors, builds diverse teams, sets clear goals and metrics, allocates resources, and holds themselves and others accountable.

  • This session will focus on the business strategy to promote the inclusion and utilization of suppliers from diverse backgrounds, including minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, and other historically underrepresented groups. Discussion will provide solutions to create economic opportunities and foster equitable access to procurement contracts for diverse suppliers.

  • Aligning DEI goals requires a deliberate and intentional approach that involves several key steps. Learn the steps that will help organizations align DEI goals with overall business goals to ensure that DEI is integrated into their culture and practices.

  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) sustainability refers to the ongoing efforts to maintain and continually improve DEI practices within an organization.
